Visiting US Embassy Canberra

On a hill outside the city center sits a nice patch of home: the U.S. Embassy Canberra. I want to thank U.S. Ambassador James Carouso for inviting me, my brother and my Dad to visit after the National Multicultural Festival. We had a great time talking about the festival and Americana music and we took a couple group pictures in his office. He even strummed my guitar. Not bad! And who knew? On our walking tour of the grounds we learned not only about US-Australian history and the mission, but that Jackie Chan used to live in the Chief Residence as a boy. His punching bag still hangs in the attic of the residence! The roads of music.. it's exciting where they take you!
